New SWAC Senior Pastor announced

Introducing Steve Young...
Rev. Steve Young will commence as Springwood-Winmalee Anglican Churches Senior Pastor in January 2011.
Steve is married to Jo and they have three children: Reuben (6), Aled (4), Lucy (2) and Ellen (2 months). Prior to training for ministry, Steve worked as an accountant in the financial sector. He studied at Moore College from 1996 to 1999 after which he worked as an Assistant Minister at St. Thomas' North Sydney for four years. He has been the Minister at Moorebank Anglican since the beginning of 2004. Steve has no hobbies to speak of because he and Jo have four small children (each whom they adore).
While Steve and Jo are sad to be saying goodbye to their friends, co-workers and a good ministry in Moorebank, they are excited by the new challenge and opportunity that God has given them to serve him in Springwood. Steve is looking forward to preaching the gospel, caring for God's people and leading them in mission to the mountains community. The Young family are looking forward meeting everyone at SWAC!
