Cape Town 2010: The Third Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization

SWAC member Wendy Toulmin leaves today for Cape Town, South Africa. The Third Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization starts on Saturday 16th October and runs until the 25th.

Cape Town 2010, held in collaboration with the World Evangelical Alliance, will bring together 4,000 leaders from more than 200 countries to confront the critical issues of our time – other world faiths, poverty, HIV/ AIDS, persecution, among others - as they relate to the future of the Church and world evangelization.

Wendy Toulmin will be attending in her role as Executive Officer for Langham Partnership Australia, along with over 20 other Australians from various church and mission organisations.

Please pray for Wendy that this will be a wonderful opportunity for her to learn and share with brothers and sisters from around the world. Please pray for the conference that it will be a time of greater understanding of God, His word the Bible, and how we can all work together for His Kingdom purposes.
